About us
Colorado's Concrete Has Colorado's Problems. We Know Both.
The Front Range is one of the toughest climates in the country for concrete. Colorado Springs averages over 100 nights below freezing every year. That means over 100 chances for moisture to work into your concrete, freeze, expand, and crack the surface from the inside out.
We've built our entire service menu around this reality. Every job we do, from a full resurface and coating to a simple clear seal, is designed to give your concrete a fighting chance against what Colorado throws at it.
Driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, garages, and commercial surfaces, from Colorado Springs to Pueblo to Castle Rock.

Four Ways We Protect Colorado Concrete
Damaged, dull, or due for protection: tell us what your concrete looks like and we'll tell you which one it needs.

Concrete Resurfacing
Cracked, spalled, or worn concrete that is still solid underneath gets repaired first, then finished with a durable color or clear coating. It looks fresh, performs like new concrete, and costs a fraction of a full replacement.

Color Sealing
For concrete that's structurally sound but ready for an upgrade. A tinted or solid-color coating transforms the look of your existing concrete and adds a durable protective layer on top.

Clear Sealing
If your concrete is in decent shape and you want to keep it that way, clear sealing is the most important maintenance you can do. It closes the pores that let Colorado moisture in to freeze and break the surface apart.

Epoxy Garage Floors
We diamond grind the slab, repair every crack, and build a full-flake epoxy floor with a polyaspartic topcoat that shrugs off hot tires, road salt, and dropped tools. Most garages are done in a day.

The honest call
We tell you what it needs, not the most expensive option. If a seal is enough, that's what we quote.

FAQ
Answers to Your Concrete Questions
What's the difference between resurfacing and sealing?
Resurfacing is for concrete that has damage: cracks, spalling, significant wear. We repair the surface first, then apply a protective coating on top. Sealing (color or clear) is for concrete that's already in good structural condition and just needs protection or a visual upgrade.
Does resurfacing include crack repair?
Yes, always. Every resurfacing job we do includes crack and damage repair before the coating goes on. There's no point coating over unrepaired damage. It won't hold.
How long does a concrete coating last in Colorado?
With proper prep and application, most coatings hold up 10 to 15 years. Clear sealers typically need to be refreshed every 2 to 4 years. We'll tell you what to expect for your specific situation when we give you an estimate.
Why does Colorado destroy concrete so fast?
Mainly the freeze-thaw cycle. Colorado Springs gets over 100 nights below freezing per year. Moisture gets into porous concrete, freezes, expands, and cracks the surface from the inside. Add intense UV at altitude and road salt use in winter, and you have conditions that age concrete faster than almost anywhere else in the country. Sealing is the single best thing you can do to slow that down.
Is resurfacing cheaper than replacing concrete?
Significantly. Resurfacing costs less than a full pour. Unless the slab is structurally compromised all the way through, restoration is almost always the smarter financial decision. We'll give you an honest assessment. If you truly need replacement, we'll tell you that too.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Always. Call 719-639-0643 or email info@eliteconcretecoatingsco.com and we'll set up a time to come out.
